Out of every place I have been in the World I have never been blown away like I have been in Vegas. I had high hopes before I came to this renowned location, but I honestly didn't expect these hopes to be met, let alone exceeded.

Oh my head hurts! You're not going to get a lot out of me today as even breathing requires more energy than my body can produce.

Well they say there is NO place like Vegas, and they are absolutely right!

Well the contest has officially got under way, with the first 3 rounds being held over the past couple of days. However, it's Sunday here on the North Shore and the event can't run due to surfing politics, coincidently the waves are 10 feet, which at least allowed us to take advantage of this opportunity to practise.

Well, well, well interesting comments from all of you regarding the last couple of articles. It's good to see everyone's opinion and I think it's an important discussion to have, one that is normally swept under the mat.

Well today was massive. Waves were in the 12ft plus range (25-30ft faces), it was messy and dangerous, but still there were some bombs amongst the elements, which inspired a bunch of guys to have a dig.

Well the famous Pipeline broke over the weekend in all it's glory. It sounds a little more exciting though than what it really is sometimes. With over 80 guys in the line up all desperately struggling to get their mug on the next cover, Pipe is sometimes more sickening than pleasurable.

Well, I have kept it pretty low key, but today I started filming for the Joker 3. This is going to be a big budget film that involves actors, and more than a touch from Hollywood's best!

Well it's another day in Hawaii, and today was more like the typical day you would expect on the North Shore. With sunny skies, clean waves and a picturesque sunset; the North Shore is ticking all the boxes when it comes to cliche expectations.

Well there's no mucking around, it was straight into the deep end of the pool with my first surf - a 10ft Pipeline. No matter how many times I have surfed this spot, it still makes me nervous, and I'm thankful I have been training hard prior to my arrival.
